What type of business owner are you?

If you are the type of business owner who sits late at night in bed to type something quickly and post it every so often when you remember to get a chance, then you are desperately in need of someone like me. Among other things, I prioritise things like your marketing strategy, using the right times to schedule posts to increase traffic, and to create analytics each month so we can continue to improve and reach your right target market. I am here to make your social media marketing a priority so that you can focus on running your business.

If you think that a social media manager is a waste of time and money, and that it's something you can manage yourself, then you might be right, which means you and I might not be the best fit.

But, before you make your decision, allow me to explain what you can expect from a social media manager, and hopefully this will change your mind.

A social media manager (SMM) is someone like me who makes life easier for busy business owners. I make sure their social media marketing is always planned and scheduled ahead with specific content strategies and planning set in place, and also with constant prioritising. My clients can therefore focus on running their business and not worry about any algorithms or keeping up with all the latest trends. Some services you may expect from someone like me will include setting up a research & goals proposal; creating a monthly posting strategy along with a monthly calendar to show exactly what topics to expect in each month's posting; creating content and post copy, and also sending approval for each post (giving you full control of what goes live on your socials); weekly/bi-weekly meetings to discuss admin; creating marketing campaigns and business proposals to reach new customers/clients; setting up collaborations, competitions, ad campaigns, etc. to increase site traffic; website design and maintenance; professional photography for products, team members/ staff, for your socials, marketing and website; an in-depth monthly analysis based on your site traffic, successful and unsuccessful posts, algorithms, existing audiences and target audiences, impressions, reach, following, etc., with ways to improve each month, all compiled in an easy-to-read file; and making sure all these platforms are linked with things such as Facebook pixel, 3rd party integrations with your website, and so much more. Trust me... it's not just a post here and there. This is a full-time job!

When you look at what business owners do, the list becomes endless. When someone is busy running a business, caring for clients, attending meetings, keeping finances in tact, making sure products uphold a specific standard, caring for employees, (the list is endless!), then usually their social media is their last priority as they don’t answer to anyone regarding social media. And face it, when something is not prioritised and no one keeps you accountable, it won’t get done. And unfortunately, social media marketing should be on the top of a business owner’s list as this is what drives new customers to them, and keeps their doors open! If you therefore have an expert to manage your social media platforms, then it allows for at least some accountability over your social media, and this is only good for business.

The real truth, is that social media is a full-time job, and it inevitably is what sets you apart. It's what elevates your business to bring more customers directly to your door. So if you are a business owner with no time for anything else during your day, that's simply where I come in...

So what is a Social Media Manager?

“Word-of-mouth marketing isn’t about giving customers talking points, as if they were brand spokespeople. It’s about delivering an exceptional customer experience that makes customers want to recommend you.”
